Ha completato due giri del mondo nel 1960 e nel 1992 - Interamente in teak - molto veloce e marina, con inconsueti volumi interni. Prezzo molto ribassato per necessario refitting
Bermudian cutter built in 1937 by the historical Shipyard J Miller & Sons Scotland ,St Monans- to a design of R. Clark and W.E. Forester. She was completely restored in 1989/90 at the Cantieri dell'Argentario, before setting off to sea and take part with her then enthusiastic owner to a world tour that lasted 15 months and saw them sailing all oceans. Back to the Mediterranean through the Red Sea, they undertook another ocean crossing and return.
Cheone, originally named Tresca, is a fascinating vintage boat, truly unique for the livability of its volumes. Built of solid burman teak, hull deck and interior do meet high quality levels. The interiors, that had been refurbished with great style, provide a comfort really not common in vintage boats and can accommodate six guests in three separate cabins, each with own bathroom facilities, plus one crew cabin. A large sail locker can become a crew area so that the cabins increase to four.
The deck offers several sunbathing areas and a well sheltered cockpit . The wooden mast, with mainsail and staysail Marconi is certainly to be considered a modern rig, the performance quite satisfactory . Double Perkins each 90 hp ensure a remarkable cruising speed and even greater security.
This charming old vessel now requires a considerable amount of work to restore the ancient glory, but she never stopped sailing. Still relying on a good structure, the major interventions are concerning systems and part of the deck. The price has been significantly reduced, resulting in a deal worthwhile investing
