Built in Denmark as a fishing vessel to work in the waters around Iceland, she retired from fishing in 1962 and was converted to a private yacht in 1970. In 1985 she was changed to her current configuration with a schooner rig and decent accommodation. Currently coded for commercial use under UK flag, she is in commission and ready to sail. 12 berths in 3 separate sleeping cabins plus a large saloon and two heads compartments. New 150hp Beta diesel in 2013. A fine boat of very manageable size.

Wooden Ships Comments
Built in Fredrickshaven, Denmark, in 1932 as a sailing & motor fishing boat kotter. Long keel, delightful elliptical counter stern and a bluff bow.
Fished until 1962, and first converted to yacht in 1970 after which she undertook the Tall Ships Race in 1972 & 74. Conversion to present configuration & schooner rigged in Holland, 1985.
Bought by present owners in 2004 and sailed between UK and the Canary Islands undertaking charter work of various kinds including appearances at traditional festivals. She currently has an up to date UK Code of Practice certificate and is currently in commission and ready to sail.

Planked in 3" oak all iron dump fastened to massive doubled 6” x 4” sawn oak frames @ 12" centres on an oak back-bone with an inner ceiling of oak. Copper sheathed below the waterline.
Straight laid iroko deck, caulked and payed between 3’ bulwarks with heavy capping rail.
Flush perspex fore hatch, iroko built casing between the masts at bulwark height, slightly higher casing aft each with bronze opening port holes.
Solid Iroko deck structures with a dog house aft and a slightly lower one forward between the masts. Bronze portholes set in the dog house with a laid iroko coachroof deck over marine plywood.
Gaff schooner rig on solid, varnished, keel-stepped masts, both with fidded topmasts.
New main mast 2005/6.
Heavy stainless steel rigging, much of it renewed in recent years, to external chain plates with rigging screws.
Varnished bowsprit set into massive sampson post
Running back-stays on tackles for the main mast and topmast.

Beta Marine 150hp 6 cylinder marine diesel installed new in 2013. Hydraulic gearbox to centre line stainless steel shaft and a fixed 3 blade bronze propellor.
1650 litres diesel in 2 steel tanks midships
3000 litres water under saloon cabin sole.
200 litres black water tank.
Large bank of deep cycle batteries connected to give 24 volts. Charged from the engine alternator or through a Victron inverter when connected to shore pwoer.
11 berths ex saloon. Fore cabin, hatch over, hi & lo berths to port, shelves to stbd, chain locker between. Stbd w/t door to hi & lo pasageway berths to stbd, cabin to port with 4 single berths.
W/t bulkhead door to saloon cabin, main mast against the bulkhead; port dinette around the table, breakfast bar to U-shaped galley in aft port corner with gas cooker, double sink and good work surface.
Stbd settee with cupboard pilot berth up behind, 3-drawer unit, cupboard over, top-loading fridge under polished mahogany surface.
W/t bulkhead door in the stbd corner of the after bulkhead through to aft compartment.
Passageway heads compartment with 24v sea toilet, shower & basin, recently rebuilt.
Engine and generator space under full width chart table across the front of the aft cabin.
Double berth aft to port. Stbd steps to deck. Lazarette stowage.
