Wooden Ships Comments
Built by Lavers of Dartmouth in 1931. Originally fitted with an inboard Stuart Turner engine, she was able to be sailed, motored or rowed and was perfect for exploring the river and local coastline. She is quite full in the bilges with a lot of buoyancy in the bows making her a dry and weatherly boat, very stable and surprisingly fast.
She has had much work done in the present ownership including new mast, keel, stainless centreplate and many new ribs.
She is a complete package with a custom road trailer, all over cover and a host of other equipment. At 15' she is a very manageable size and can be launched and retrieved by one person as well as being small enough to fit on the dinghy pontoons.
