Originally built in 1930 by Dauntless shipyard in Essex Conn. Designed by Sherman C. Hoyt. Honduras Mahogany planked 84 steam bent Connecticut white oak frames. Solid teak deck and toe rail. Honduras mahogany cabin house, hatches, coamings, cockpit, wheel, compass, long leaf yellow pine shelf, clamp and bilge stringers. White oak butt blocks, futtocks, floor timbers, deck beams and ash interior cabinhouse beams. Colors of the Reveler are black hull; gold cove stripe; white boot stripe; and green bottom.
