Steilsteven Dutch Barge 23.8m x 4.7 built 1929 Currently lying ashore essex comes with DAF 825 motor

This dutch barge suffered from an internal fire whilst cruising in france. The vessel was recovered and bought back to essex. The vessel was then completely shot blasted top to bottom and painted with 3 coats of epithanes primer before two top coats. New double glazed windows have been fitted throughout. the interior has also been stripped and cleaned back before being painted throughout.

The vessel also has two generators single and 3 phase

This is a great opportunity for a worthy blank canvas vessel, we have room ashore here if required and can offer a residential berth in Essex if required. This is a very pretty Dutch barge and will make a fantastic home or holiday home. Its size is perfect to drive not only on a standard ICC boat licence but also for the Canal du midi in France. The vessel still has the Amsterdam registration numbers stamped clearly in the hull as well as the load lines etc. We have not investigated the history with the Dutch shipping registry as yet. The hull has been replated and we would welcome any survey.
