Another pretty Danish built fishing vessel with their trade mark elliptical counter stern. Converted to a gaff ketch with a slightly smaller than normal rig which makes her easily handled by a small crew. Large fuel capacity and a very economical Gardner 6LX gives plenty of cruising range when the wind dies or turns foul. Fitted with all the systems needed for comfortable living.
The boat comes with her own private mooring in Portugal.

Planked in oak fastened to sawn oak frames in the traditional Danish manner. Frames are closely spaced with an oak ceiling fastened to them to create a very strong hull. Heavy full length keelson over the top of the frames.
In 1981 the hull was sheathed in fibreglass by a previous owner. In 2006 this was totally removed, the hull planking made good in a few small areas where necessary, the whole hull splined and then sheathed again in GRP. This has created a totally dry and watertight hull.
Straight laid pine deck fastened t heavy oak deck beams, caulked and payed. The deck was also sheathed in 2006 along with the hull to ensure a totally watertight ship.
Bulwarks on new oak stanchions mounted to the hull through the cover board in the normal fashion. Heavy oak capping rail with pine bulwark planking and large freeing ports at the base.
Deck house aft constructed of pine planking with a sheathed marine plywood roof. Helm position aft of this with seating for the helmsman.
Entrance to the deckhouse in aft starboard corner. Heads compartment across the aft end with sea toilet and shower.
Galley to port with seating and table to starboard. Switch board located on the bulkhead by the galley. Companionway steps on the centreline at the forward end giving access below.
Small lifting hatch forward providing light and ventilation to the below decks area.

Engine and machinery.
Gardner 6LX 110hp. Traditional Gardner wheel controlled gearbox with shaft to large fixed 3 blade propeller. Offers quiet and economical cruising, no better than a Gardner.
Hot water immersion tank heated with a 220v immersion provides pressurised hot water throughout the boat.
Batteries and electrics
Large battery bank with ship domestics and engine start running on 24v and navigation equipment running on 12v.
2 x 12v engine start batteries with total 180ah .

Charging from engine alternator and from a 240v charger coupled to the 7.5kva installed genset. Wind generator and solar panels add to the charging capability.
Boat was totally re-wired in the last 7 years with a 220v ring main from the generator or shore power, 24v and 220v lighting, plus all other systems.
