Stout classic Tugboat built by renowned Vancouver Shipyards in 1923 for the rigors of a hard working life in the Pacific Northwest and the North Pacific. The prime original growth timber of which this remarkable vessel was built is not even available today; similarly, shipwrights with the skill & experience of her builders are now rare, if any can be found. Recently repowered with Caterpillar V12 (D3970) Recent haulout and survey. Fastener pulled (which isn't easy) and found to be in excellent condition. SEA WAVE would make an outstanding world cruising retirement platform that could also do some paid work along the way. She recently came down from the Puget Sound & has unlimited potential as an outstanding home and adventure yacht with a wonderful broad-shouldered ambiance unavailable in today's vessels. She's more a small ship than a large boat and was built to go to sea & stay there. Everything about this magnificent vessel is steeped in history & larger than life. The world aboard SEA WAVE is a rich and fulfilling environment. OFFERS ARE ENCOURAGED. | ||
