Int. 12 Metre Classic first rules built by the famous Max Oertz, Hamburg in 1911 under the name "DAVO III". Dim. l.o.a 18,29 x 3,64 m. draft 2,35 m.
12 Metre does not refer to the length of the yacht but implies that she has been built to the following formula:
(L+2d-F+ ÖS)/2.37=12 Metres (details of this first rule, used from 1907 till 1920,on the 12 Metre Class website)
For many years she has been succesfull in several regatta's. Since 1984 in good hands of the present owner, last refit from 2002 till 2005, now in good condition.
