One of the most striking features of this vessel is that it was built in 1910 and yet -here it is -this fair and undistorted hull. Granted, it didn’t hurt to be designed and built by the legendary George Lawley and, more recently in the 1980’s, almost totally rebuilt at the Gannon and Benjamin yard in Martha’s Vineyard - now one of the premier wooden boatyards anywhere in the world so, right off the bat, we have a vessel of impeccable pedigree.
