THE NAVIGATOR STORY
The Marshall family, who also founded Californian Yachts in 1966, established Navigator Yachts in 1988. Jule Marshall and his sons Steve & Gil gained many years of experience building over 2000 Californian motoryachts. They later applied this expertise to the design and development of the first open style pilothouse motoryachts built by Navigator Yachts.
The first Navigator was an advanced 33 Express Bridge, designed by Steve Marshall in 1988. This led to the expansion of the current line which encompasses 10 models, ranging from 39’ to 63’. Navigator has set a new course in luxury cruising with over 550 yachts manufactured in the USA.
Navigator Yachts was the first semi-custom motoryacht builder to provide an unobstructed 360 degree view throughout the pilothouse and salon. This trend setting design allows the captain to maintain casual conversations with his guests at all times while enabling him to perform all boat maneuvering operations from the pilothouse.
Navigator Yachts maintains an in-house Naval Architect & Interior Designer on staff for custom build requirements, providing for modified interior layouts and custom interior décor options. Navigator buyers have the option of custom ordering unique interior items such as hardwoods, fabrics, Corian, upgraded appliances and other individual items to personalize their yacht.
You will find Navigators cruising on all the major waterways, from Alaska to Ecuador, Maine to Montego Bay and up through the Mississippi to the Great Lakes. Navigators are recognized for quiet & comfortable cruising with exceptional performance and fuel economy.
Navigator Yachts takes pride in it’s position as California’s largest semi-custom motoryacht manufacturer. Headquartered in Perris, CA on an 8 acre site near I-215, with over 150 employees and a seasoned supervisory team with an average of 17 years in yacht building experience.
