Lauderdale Yacht Brokerage University,” said Ian Atkins, vice president and general manager, Dominion Marine Media. “It is a great event to kick off 2012, and our hope is that the brokers will take the information and put it into action. Our agenda is brimming with industry trends, statistics, mobile and social marketing techniques, plus targeted sales strategies. Last year’s event was met with positive accolades from many of the more than 200 brokers who attended, and we are looking forward to an even larger group in January.”
Commenting upon the announcement, Gary Smith, a board member of Florida Yacht Brokers Association, said,”As a past participant in the YBU events, I have found them to be very timely and informative concerning the state of the industry as well as new trends in marketing techniques. The FYBA views the YBU as a valuable educational and networking event and is happy to co-present the event with YachtWorld.”
