Sunseeker Charters Voted Best in Business

Sunseeker Charters logoBritish-based Sunseeker Charters recently took top honors at the Quintessentially Awards, which are decided by members of the luxury lifestyle group Quintessentially in 52 countries.

Sunseeker won the category “Yacht Charter of the Year.” Other contenders were Burgess Yachts, Camper and Nicholsons International, Edmiston and Company, and YCO Yacht.

“We are absolutely delighted and flattered to have been credited with this prestigious award, especially in face of such stern competition,” said David Ward, director of Sunseeker Charters. “It is testament to the outstanding dedication and diligence of our team that Quintessentially members have recognized Sunseeker Charters as offering the best in luxury yacht charter. We look forward to maintaining and extending our position at the head of this exclusive market.”

I had the pleasure of doing a charter through Sunseeker back in 2004, when the company was just getting started. I cruised out of Southampton, England, aboard the 68-foot motoryacht High Energy for this article that appeared in Power and Motoryacht magazine. I still recall being impressed with the on-shore extras that the company was able to arrange at top spas and restaurants.

Today, the High Energy that is available for charter through the Sunseeker fleet is a 90-footer, the largest motoryacht of its kind based in the United Kingdom for charters. Hard as it is to imagine, given my great experience six years ago, I can only guess that the company’s services have continued to increase in scope, as well, leading to this new level of recognition.

My congratulations to everyone at Sunseeker Charters on winning the Quintessentially award.
