We are specialists in Downeast and Chesapeake traditional power yachts. We build, rebuild, maintain, repair and winter store in our covered sheds. We will buy your Downeast boat as is. We will find a Downeast boat or hull and custom tailor it to your desires. We offer free covered storage in our yard for yachts listed with Black Dog Boat Works. We have 40 years in sales and repair and building of boats. After more than 40 years of working in an environment that kept us on or near the water - working and playing with lovely boats and wonderful folks, it is time to shift gears. As a result, Black Dog Boat Works is for sale. We are winding down our work load and only focusing on brokerage and associated repairs and work. We make this announcement as an effort to make as many people aware of the availability of Black Dog as a business and real estate entity as possible.
