Accommodations
The Dana packs a lot of living space into a 24-foot yacht. Headroom throughout most of the cabin is 6'1" but under the hatch (sea hood) in the companion way, head room is 6'5"! The entire cabin is open (no bulkheads except for the head) and feels much larger than it is. Forward most is access to the chain locker. Aft of the chain locker and over the forward end of the v-berth is a storage cabinet. Aft of the chain locker is a 6’ 8" long x 81" wide (aft) double v-berth with bookshelves on either side and storage below (two teak drawers and one drop door) on the center line. Aft of the v-berth are opposing settees with teak bookshelves over and a table that slides out from under the v-berth and pins into the compression post. These settees convert to 6'6" berths with footwells under the v-berth. Aft and to port is the galley with Force 10 two (2) burner propane stove with oven and broiler, deepwell stainless steel sink and ice box. Aft of the settees and opposite the galley is the enclosed head. The interior is finished in handrubbed teak, laminates on the table and countertops and teak and holly sole.
