VIRGIN LADY just came out of the Hinkley yard after a year long refit which included the addition of two feet to the swim platform to provide a cradle for the new Novurania w/40 hp Yamaha 4-stroke which is lifted by a new UMT dinghy davit. Also during the yard period a back sun shade was added along with new cushions throughout, new soft interior goods including salon headliner and custom curtains. Mechanical upgrades included new batteries, wiring and servicing of the bow thruster, props and engines.
This four-stateroom yacht is built for cruising in style and comfort, with this configuration featuring 4 queen size bed staterooms and 3 private heads being virtually unique in a 56 ft vessel. The salon is entered through the full-sized sliding glass door from the aft deck. One is immediately struck by the voluminous salon area and the nicely decorated interior. There are lots of rich teak joiner work and teak & holly sole throughout the boat, which is complimented by coordinated new window coverings, teak counter tops, stainless steel port lights & window frames. The main salon is very light and welcoming, from the huge sliding glass windows on both sides. There is a sweeping U-shaped sofa w /solid, polished teak table to port that can comfortably seat 8 for elegant and comfortable inside dining (five on the sofa plus three solid wood stools). The entertainment center is to starboard and includes a flat screen TV/VCR. The radio and CD player system are forward to port by the lower station. The fully equipped galley is forward to starboard in the salon and is equipped to feed a crowd. She features separate refrigerator and separate freezer, microwave oven, propane stove w/large oven, SS sink and plenty of cabinets, pantry, drawers and counter space for storing food and dishes.
The huge master stateroom is aft and accessed down a molded step companionway on the starboard side of the salon. The rich teak joiner work, teak & holly sole, centerline queen berth give the room a real sense of luxury. There is an ensuite head with vanity w/mirror and a separate stall shower with all new tile floors. There is a large hanging locker, TV with VCR and separate climate controls. The other three staterooms are accessed down a companionway forward of the salon. The VIP stateroom is all the way forward with a queen sized centerline berth and wrap-around teak cabinetry. There are two hanging lockers and a head compartment with private entrance that can be shared, if desired, with the portside guest stateroom. It has a head, again with new tile floors, vanity and separate stall shower. The starboard side guest/captain stateroom is just aft of the VIP stateroom. It has a queen-sized berth, a hanging locker and a head compartment that opens on to the companionway. Each stateroom has its own climate controls. The aft deck has a custom hardtop and an inlaid teak deck. There is a large adjustable-height table, which runs athwartship and plenty of seating.
The swim platform was lengthened by two feet to accommodate the dinghy to sit on a cradle for ocean crossings and is accessed down easy-molded steps from the side of the sun deck with has a hot/cold hand shower. The bridge deck has a bimini, helm seating, a large sun-pad over the cockpit and an adjustable table, with plenty of comfortable seating. She has a complete cruising instrument package at the upper and lower stations including a Raymarine E120 both at upper and lower helm stations, Raymarine depth, sounder & speed log and VHF. Power is provided by twin 435-hp 3208 Caterpillars (2750 hours), which enables her to cruise at 15 kts with maximum over 20 kts, VIRGIN LADY also features numerous upgrades and options including bow thrusters, Nilsson electric windlass & two anchors(200 ft chain), new 13.5kw Onan generator (25 hrs), engine emergency start system, engine-room Fireboy fire system, Glendenning 50-amp 220v/125v electric shore power cord stowing system.
The huge bow has a sun pad for hanging out.
This boat is ready to go although she could use a paint job which would put her in 'Bristol condition'. The vessel is registered under a BVI Offshore LLC and this company could also be avaibable with the purchase of the vessel.
