Ardell was incorporated in 1958 with sales offices and marina in Newport Beach, California. In 1962 owner Don Haskell recruited brokers Craig Cadwalader, Tom Corkett, Dennis Moran and Jim Elliott. All are still active full time brokers with the Company today.

In 1971 Ardell opened its Fort Lauderdale office and soon thereafter built a state of the art facility in the heart of “The Yachting Capital of the World”. Over the next 40 years many hundreds of yacht owners purchased and sold their boats with the help of Ardell’s veteran sales force based on both coasts of the U.S.
