Featured Boat 65' Offshore CPMY 1993 US$ 835,000 RARE FLUSHDECK COCKPIT MOTORYACHT Bill Crealock designed the 58' Offshore with a very deep fore foot to eliminate pounding in head seas and with a long keel to provide directional stability and to make the boat very easy to steer in ocean swells. In all, he has created is a very solid, seaworthy boat that is quiet and comfortable in all conditions. "White Star" left the Offshore factory in 1993 as a 58 footer but even before it was commissioned in 1994 it received a 7' hull extension designed by Gary Grant. The work was done to a very high standard by Yachtfish Marine in Seattle, Wa. It was then analyzed, fine tuned and extensively sea trialed by Performance Design Corporation of Kirkland, Wa. who proclaimed that the boat met and exceeded their expectations for vessel control, trim and performance. The extension improved performance and made for a huge cockpit with a hot tub/spa concealed below deck. The transom door is most of the width of the transom and it lowers like a tailgate to provide views for those enjoying the hot tub or to make handling the tender easier. Known as a flushdeck cockpit motor yacht, the wheelhouse, galley and saloon are all on one level. The galley is to port just aft of the wheelhouse. On the lower level it features three staterooms with en-suite heads for each of the staterooms. The interior is beautifully fit with Burmese teak joinery that has a hand rubbed satin finish.
