Spertini Alalunga trademark is a point of reference in worldwide ship industry.

In 1961 Mario Spertini bought an antique shipyard which had started at the end of the 800' and begun his adventure in shipbuilding constructing fishing boats.

By 1963 e launched his first 12m corvette branded Spertini and during the same year he built his 1st 14m yacht "Sport Fisherman" launched in 1964 with a great success, starting the "Alalunga" brand.

The outcome was immediate all over the world and since then the production of yachts made with steel, wood or fibers continues with bigger hulls, up to 34m.

In 1970, the 1st "Alalunga" motoryacht was presented followed by a long series of models designed to have a fast and comfortablecruise, always made with the passion for good quality standards that remains nowadays. Also the six "Panther models designed by Paolo Caliari uphold the affection of joining speed and style of his Ligurian shipyard.

In the following years, the cooperation with the Italian designer Paolo Chichero brings to some of the most beautiful, prestigious and admired sport boats in the world.

While the first 18m fiberglass is being projected in 1985, the production keeps on offering wooden boats form 18m to 27m.

Meanwhile the research and technology allow the identification of new models, such as "composite" power-yacht with exceptional performance: lighter, more reliable and resistant.

In today's VTR models the quality of the keel, the traditional craftsmanship and the elegance of every detail keeps on representing Alalunga brand value, recognizable at first sight everywhere in the world
