ATLANTIC MOTORYACHTS
CUSTOM QUALITY BUILD
Most of the Atlantic Motoryachts are built to satisfy the personal taste of the owners. From the Atlantic 460 to the prestigious Atlantic 56HT, the interior is completely custom build.
With Custom Quality Build we mean as much as: "You can design the complete interior of your own version of the Atlantic Motoryacht of your choice. We build it, if technically possible!” With our interior designers we will discuss your wishes, from Lay-out to styling, and find your exact demands. Our meaning of Custom Quality Build is: 'Exceeding what the client expects'. Our team closely monitors the quality in every detail, whether that is technical finish or performance, to ensure the full satisfaction of the owner.
What you want is what we build!
Atlantic Motoryacht Quality
Each Atlantic yacht built in our boatyard is subject to stringent quality monitoring, from the laying of the keel to the tightening of the last screw, all with superb fit and finish.
This is reassuring because it means you depend fully on your vessel in each and every situation. Place your trust in a boatyard that is geared to meet your exact requirements.
We recently completed the third of the Q52. The Q52 is a showpiece boat whose luxurious character certainly makes it worthy of a berth in the harbor at St. Tropez.
Besides this, it is also a technically advanced vessel, the first to be equipped with Zeus. This system keeps it exactly on the spot, without any need for an anchor.
Zeus propulsion makes maneuvering the Q52 child’s play.
The computer system that controls propulsion means that the boat will easily turn within its own Length. The system calculates the vectors needed to achieve the desired result, including the power to the props. Even in strong winds Zeus keeps the boat effortlessly on the spot. The joystick responds proportionally to every movement; large movements provide more power at once.
Innovation: The Atlantic 56 Twin Deck.
Commissioned by Atlantic Motoryachts, Vripack Naval Architects of Sneek have developed an entirely new Atlantic, the 56 twin deck. In a market where there is much supply, but also much of the same, Atlantic Motoryachts now brings a revolutionary design:
Everything has been finished flush with the surface as much as possible, such as:
• anchor assembly concealed below deck;
• storage fenders below deck;
• Concealed hydraulic passerelle/gangway.
As a unique feature for the customers in the various areas in the world, the management of Atlantic Motoryachts has made a unique platform with Vripack yacht designers and engineers to build custom made yachts.
As management of Atlantic Motoryachts, we established a close cooperation with the staff members of VRIPACK, yacht designers and engineers of Sneek (www.vripack.com). We are now able to offer the possibilities of Vripack's new "GoTo" concept. With this "GoTo" concept we are able to give our customer full insight in the design process over the internet. This will allow our customer to have a direct dialogue between the design team during various design stages of the project, smart and efficient even without the need to travel. From experience we can inform you that it is really as you are sitting next to the designers in their office in Sneek while you are sitting in your local office somewhere around the world.
We believe that there are still customers that want to build non-standard yachts but do not have the time and/or interest to travel. With this new "GoTo" concept of Vripack traveling is reduced to a minimum. All is centered via your local internet connection; your personal design meetings through a life discussion.
During the construction of your yacht, we do take control of the building process and deliver the high standards as we are used to with the production of our own yachts. We normally build in polyester but for the 100 % custom build yachts we can also handle other building materials; from steel to aluminum.
The management of Atlantic Motoryachts does consider this as the next step to increase our customer service levels but also to underwrite our commitment that the final customer should be able to create and design its own yacht as convenient as possible but also with the minimal costs levels attached to this.
ATLANTIC SEA HAWK
Sauter Carbon Offset Design and Atlantic Motor Yachts present the Atlantic Sea Hawk, a Hi-performance Zero Carbon 18 meter Cabin Cruiser with a top speed of 50 knots.
For Atlantic Motoryachts, the Atlantic Sea Hawk is a yacht that enables us to start developing a motoryacht rang with the latest technical requirements of modern yachting. Atlantic Motoryachts is a builder that is situated in the Netherlands and for many years, building modern lined Carbon Fiber Motoryachts. Next to the Atlantic Sea Hawk, Atlantic has also a range of classical Fiber Glass powerboats and in the last 15 years earned more than sufficient respect with it owners to call him the best boat builder of the Northern parts of Holland.
Designer Richard Sauter commented “Her state of the art Solar Hybrid technology addresses the issue of Global warming pollution by achieving a 50 to 100% reduction in fuel consumption and GHG emissions. The Atlantic Sea Hawk combines a plug-in Sunpower solar array with an Allison Hybrid system to produce the cleanest marine propulsion system in the world”.
Allison Transmission, a unit of General Motors, in partnership with the U. S. Department of Energy, developed this hybrid system under the DOE's Advanced Heavy Hybrid Propulsion System (AH2PS) Program
Specifications:
• Overall Length; 18 m
• Beam; 4.4 m
• Draught: 0.75 m
• Double cabins: 2
• Single cabin: 1
• Weight appox. 22 ton
• Hull: Carbon fiber/Kevlar composite
• Fuel tank capacity; 2500 liters
• Water tank capacity; 800 liters
• Sewage tank capacity; 2 x 200 l
Battery storage capacity up to 100 kW. Allison ESS2 Nickel Metal Hydride
Maximum Power: 3x300kw Allison Hybrid HP50 Drives with “on road” EPA 8.9l Cummins engines.
Propulsion; 3 Rolls Royce Kamewa FF water jets
Electric Power
Plug-in SunPower solar cells generate up to 30kws per day.
Maximum speed 50 knots, 50% reduction in CO2 and fuel consumption
Cruising speed 30 knots, 75% reduction in CO2 and fuel consumption
Battery powered Zero Carbon range up to 100nm
Annual Carbon Neutral cruising range up to 1,000nm
The energy from the solar array, combined with Plug-in power sources charge an Allison Nickel Metal Hydride storage system that runs Hotel services and powers the express cruiser to her maximum speed of 50 knots. This same UPS allows her to navigate harbors and inland waterways with Zero emissions
Plugged in the Atlantic Sea Hawk is capable of feeding 11Mwh’s of electricity to the grid. Enough energy to offset up to 1,000 nautical miles of Carbon Neutral cruising every year.
RR Kamewa jets are safer and in hi-speed jet propelled Yachts will use less fuel than boats of the same size with propellers. The fastest commercial ferries in the world employ jets to reduce fuel consumption and GHG emissions.
