The Sterling Atlantic 43 is a beautiful and elegant Bridge Deck Cruiser. It reflects designer Greg Siewert " also the owner of Ilhabela " desire to recreate a classic but with his own idea's of design. She has the classic traditional lines, strongly reminiscent of the commuter design that was so popular in the 1920's and 30's. She is truly a head turner. This is not your typical trawler or tug nothing plain about this girl. If you are looking for a boat that just draws attention stops people in their track just to look. Then this is your future yacht. She is the ideal Cruiser for a couple who may take occasional guests aboard wishing to cruise for a weekend or for a month. She has been on the Great loop on the East coast and is ready to do the same here in the Great Pacific Northwest, Alaska anyone. She is also easy for a couple to handle, economical 3.75 miles per gallon at 9 knots with a range of 1000 miles
The interior arrangement stylishly combines comfort and utility. The plan is centered on a large, practical pilothouse and dining lounge.
To forward is a private owner's stateroom, and just aft to starboard, a full head with shower. The U-shaped galley with full size refer/freezer is to port. Aft of the pilothouse is a convertible salon with pull-out sofa and reading chairs. The forward end of the salon features a large writing desk and bookcase. Guests can exit the salon aft through a sliding door to the spacious cockpit with twin settees and transom door leading to the swim platform.
The yacht quality interior design is evocative of a classic gentleman’s yacht. Brazilian stonework and rich figured hardwoods complement the light colored fabrics and wall coverings giving a clean, comfortable and sophisticated setting. Lighting and ventilation are ample throughout with large doors, hatches and windows.
